If you're curious about doing things differently, I hope you'll find plenty here to explore.
For far too long I’ve been worried about getting “our own path” out here. Overthinking it all, worried what I post/write, conscious of it all looking too perfect - of course it’s not perfect, but I focus on the positives - it’s taken going through a lot to get where we are, I don’t need to share all that - at least not yet, just know it hasn’t always been an easy road - but its led us here - to building and choosing as we have, and it feels so bloody good right now!!
I feel all this learning and experience holds more value if I can pass some of it on to others who might be looking for their own answers, and finding a path of their own.
We’ve been choosing more and more of what feels right to us, rather than simply doing what’s expected. It never gets less scary, and it’s not easy, but we’ve learnt that so many of the best things in our lives have been waiting on the other side of that - and every time we’ve trusted that feeling, we've learnt to trust ourselves a little more. We’ve reached a crossroads now of what’s next - trying to balance roots and freedom, so the next chapter is just unfolding.
Here I’ll share honest experiences, my thoughts on education and childhood, practical travel guides, and the things we've learnt - and learning - along the way, not as a blueprint, but as ideas and insights you can take from - question, and make your own.
I hope all of this can help you listen to that pull more, dare to trust it - and yourself, and live life in a way that feels way more you.

We want our children to have the freedom to explore, be curious, try new things and experience as much of this world as they can. Sometimes that means big adventures somewhere completely new. Sometimes it's the ordinary days, the slow mornings and the little moments together.
For us, it's about making space for both - and knowing that childhood isn't something we need to rush through
